Is Peppertux the only single-ingredient pistachio butter on the market?
Yes. Peppertux Unsweetened Pistachio Butter contains one ingredient: pistachios. Although some brands claim to offer single-ingredient pistachio butter, many include added oils - either disclosed on the label or used during processing - to improve texture or flow. We do not add oils of any kind. Our pistachio butter is made solely from roasted pistachios.
Is Peppertux pistachio butter raw pistachio butter?
No. Our pistachio butters are made from dry-roasted pistachios, not raw pistachios. Dry roasting enhances flavor and also reduces food safety risks. Raw nut butters can carry a higher risk of pathogens such as salmonella, which is why we choose roasting for both taste and safety.
How does pistachio butter compare to pistachio cream?

Natural oil separation is normal in pistachio butter made from real pistachios. Simply stir to recombine.
